Farsi Couplet:
Gar jamaal-e yaar nabuad baa khayalash hum khusham,
Khaana-e darvesh ra shamee ba az mehtaab neest.
English Translation:
If I cannot see her, at least I can think of her, and so be happy;
To light the beggars hut no candle is better than moonlight.
